Lip Extraction Using Deformable Templates

Term : Summer'99

During the course of my summer internship at IBM India Research Labs, I was part of the Speech Recognition group. My task was to explore new robust techniques of extracting the lip features from a given facial video sequence. On this, we extended existing work on using deformable templates for facial feature extraction.
