Space Time Super-resolution : Simultaneous super resolution in space and time, reduction in motion aliasing and motion blur

We used the input video sequences from The Weizmann Institute of Science. These are 4 low resolution PAL input sequences (360x288, 25 frames/sec) of a fan rotating fast and, due to inadequate temporal sampling, shows motion aliasing - the familiar wagon wheel effect of the fan rotating in the opposite direction. We show results of super resolution by a factor of 3 in the temporal dimension and 2x2 in the spatial dimensions, more than what has been suggested as possible in the literature. This is possible in our method because of the selective super resolution in space and time.
