Spatial Super resolution on Noisy Images

In this case we show a synthetic example of spatial super resolution reconstruction for noisy observations with a calibration image. We register 24 low resolution images using Hierarchical Model based Motion Estimation by Bergen et al. and carry out spatial super resolution reconstruction. For both spatial super resolution reconstruction using multiple images and single image expansion we have used the linear truncated smoothness prior. Note that our spatial super resolution reconstruction method can effectively remove the noise and yet preserve the high frequency details. The results are more smooth because of registration errors in the presence of noise.
