In the early 2000s, I tried my hand at playing the bamboo flute.
Here are some recordings, circa mid-2006. Sadly, all that is
history now...

Bhupali(Mohanam)/Bhoop/Bhoop Kalyan, and Deskar

which was also Gandhi-ji's favourite, based on
Raga Khamaj/Khambwaj(Hari Kambhoji)

...it comes back sometimes, in spurts. The cool breeze of the
Ganga on the Darbhanga Ghat in Varanasi on the evening of 02
December, 2017 also brought in the notes of a flute seller's flute.
I bought a flute, and also raised it to my lips.
