She has completed her Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under the supervision of Prof M.Balakrishnan and Prof. Smruti R. Sarangi.
Her doctoral dissertation dealt with the study and analysis of
the different factors that affect the scaling trends of many core
processors. Her research mainly focused on studies linking various
factors such as Performance, Power consumption, Temperature and Process
Variations.
After completing her Ph.D, she was a Post doctoral Fellow at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation and a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems fromBirla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
Her research interests lie in the broad areas of computer architecture and embedded systems, with specific focus on Power, Thermal and Performance modeling, characterization and management.
