Global Histogram Equilization
Global Histogram Equilization was done by using
the cumulative density fucntion as a transfer function. It can be seen
how the grey levels
in the source image get evenly distributed over the
whole range of grey levels.

The same image as used for contrast stretching was
used here.The respective change in the resulting histograms may be noted.While
in
Contrast Stretching only the central grey levels
got stretched, in this case all the grey levels have been distributed evenly.
