The project aims at the restoration of paintings using the technique of image editing and image completion i.e by filling in the regions to be inpainted by the information from the surrounding background in an undetectable form. It deals with reconstructing lost/deteriorated parts of the images by the application of sophisticated algorithms to recover those missing/damaged parts.
