Our contribution submitted to IEEE TCAD regarding register file size evaluation work and its analysis is accepted and published [1].  Total contributions made so far during my research period are [1-6]. As  per my research plan we have concentrated this semester over evolving strategy for register allocation using the concept of register reuse chains in analytical framework. We have finalized our strategy, and are in a process of implementing it. We have successfully implemented local register allocation. For global allocation we are in a stage of finalizing strategy. Beauty of our approach is that it does not require code generation for specific target. Being analytical, it is faster comparing to compiler-simulator based approaches. Simultaneously we are looking for suitable parameter to be explored from memory organization.
