All papers accepted in ICVGIP 2006 must follow the LNCS template style
exactly and should be no more than 12 pages in length. We strongly
recommend that the LaTeX template style is used. If you are using the
MS Word template, please ensure that your formatting matches the LNCS
style.
Papers which do not follow these guidelines will NOT be published. Do
not forget to upload the signed copyright release form, because the
paper cannot be included for publication in LNCS unless the signed
form is received by us.
Please read the instructions given below carefully, well in advance of the
submission deadline.
You can download all the above as a
single zip file.
We recommend that you use the LaTeX files to produce your document, since they
have been set up to meet the formatting guidelines listed above. The LaTeX
environment files specify suitable margins, page layout, text, and a
bibliography style. Your paper should ultimately look similar to the
ICVGIP 2006 submission example.
The document should be converted from LaTeX to standard PDF that is readable
using Acrobat Reader 6.0 or later. To prevent problems with fonts, please create
portable PDF files. Choose an option like Download all fonts, when creating the
PDF file(s). Please use 'outline' fonts and not 'bitmap' fonts, for the same
reason.
Also, please make sure that an image embedded in your paper does not contain
transparent pixels (i.e. an alphachannel of a transparent color) because this
will lead to problems when the resulting PDF is displayed or printed.
