Update 2016: Just as smitten with CS Research as in 2008, though a bit grown up from the giggly fresh-from-UG PhD student below. :)

I am one of those souls who claim to have been smitten with “Computer Science Research” [any clue what exactly this is??] and hence have taken up the mission of obtaining a Doctoral degree in Computer Science. So, here I am. . a PhD student at the Computer Science and Engineering department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

After a number of affairs – with many of the CS areas I came across during my undergraduate years – I am currently committed to “Quantum-dot Cellular Automata”.

Though Delhi has become “home” since July 2008 , I like to call “singaara” Chennai my hometown. It is here that I did most of my schooling. .all the fun years in Hindu Senior Secondary School (Indira Nagar) & the supposedly “serious” years at P.S.Senior Secondary School. The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli has awarded me a B.Tech degree in CSE (2004-2008) just for falling in love with CS. (Yes.. I can be boring when I go on and on about how beautiful & exciting CS is!!).

Other interests include.. photography, history (especially Tamil history, ancient Tamil poetry and the like), ancient architecture, old movies (tamil, hindi, satyajit ray) . .and of course, music and books.

Note : Please read the these FAQs before mailing me with any queries regarding the institute.
!!Update!! : This is outdated with respect to admission policies and practices. I have no clue about what they do now!
