Title: Integrated approaches for public transport planning
Speaker: Anita Sch\(\ddot{\text{o}}\)bel, Gottingen University
Abstract: The planning process in public transportation consists of several planning stages which are usually done sequentially. I.e. the results of a previous planning stage are fixed and used as input for the next stage. Such a sequential planning processmay lead to suboptimal solutions. In this talk weshow what the planning stages in public transportation are and present algorithmic approaches for their integrated solution.
