I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. My primary area of expertise is Theoretical Computer Science, and my research interest includes

• Approximation, Randomized and Online Graph Algorithms
• Algorithmic Game Theory
• Combinatorial Optimization and Mathematical Programming
• Data Mining, Information Retrieval and Machine Learning
• Network Routing, Multicommodity Flow, Resource Allocation and Scheduling

In my previous life, I worked as a Technical Lead at Yahoo! India (R&D), a subsidiary of Yahoo! Inc and as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft India Development Center, a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation. I completed my Master of Engineering from Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and Bachelor of Engineering from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, both in Computer Science and Engineering.

My Ph.D. research advisors are Professor Amit Kumar and Professor Naveen Garg. My uncle Dr. Debi Prasad Pal is a Senior Advocate practicing in Supreme Court of India. My brother-in-law Dr. Kanai Chandra Paul is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Printing Engineering in Jadavpur University.
