How to plot nice bar charts using GNUPlot

Plotting great looking bar charts (or barcharts or still barchart) with gnuplot is pretty simple. Moreover in case you are sending a paper, the quality of bit mapped image files after scaling is awful. Here is what you need to do. Download a copy of boxfill. Once you have done that I have a few sample command files and dat files to give you an initial idea as to how you can plot your nice looking bar charts.
